Why fit is the protection

A mask that moves isn't protecting her.

Elastic straps are unreliable. They stretch, slide, and get pushed up between pitches. The NEO’s patent-pending Dial-Fit locks the cage in its optimal protective position, so it’s exactly where it needs to be the moment the ball arrives. Turn the dial. She shakes her head. It doesn’t move.

43 FT from the pitching rubber to a bat that sends it right back
0.35 SEC for a 70+ mph ball to reach the infield, faster than anyone’s hands
8,000+ facial injuries in softball every year, most are preventable with a mask that stays put
70+ MPH NEO tested to stay secure in optimal position on impact

"Okay, now shake your head. Is it going anywhere? See? I’m gonna tell my mom to get me one of these."

The head-shake test • every NEO fitting, everywhere
Why the Dugout Switched

Six Reasons.

The Dial-Fit lock

The Dial-Fit lock

Turn the dial for a uniform, locked-in grip. No elastic to stretch, no mid-play adjustments, no head-strap flapping in her face.

In position on impact

Tested to stay secure at 70+ mph. A cage that’s where it’s supposed to be when the ball arrives. That’s the whole point.

One-handed on and off

Between the dugout and her position, no adult required. Gear she manages herself is gear that gets worn.

Every hairstyle, every day

Every hairstyle, every day

High pony, braids, low bun for team pictures. The open-back design re-fits to her hair that day in seconds.

Built-in micro sunshade

Half her "bad catches" were glare. The sunshade is built into the ExoShield shell.

Temple-to-temple coverage

Temple-to-temple coverage

Helmet-grade ExoShield wraps further around the head, with a reinforced metal cage protecting the vulnerable temple zones.

Do the replacement math.

The $30 mask is the expensive one.

You asked, we answered.

The $28 mask is elastic. Elastic goes limp in a season, starts sliding on every play, and gets replaced. Three cheap masks in two years costs more than one NEO. The dial doesn’t stretch, and it re-tightens in one turn as pads break in or she grows.

It’s the same dial-retention concept as bike helmets and hard hats. A proven system, finally on a fielder’s mask. The shell is helmet-grade, the cage is reinforced metal, and every mask carries a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

If it’s held together with tape, pushed up on her forehead between pitches, or adjusted mid-inning, it’s not going to be in a safe position when the ball arrives. A mask that moves isn’t protecting her.

That’s the part NEO was engineered for. It fits over any hairstyle, no fidgeting necessary, comes in 5 colors she’ll actually pick, and kids love clicking the dial. "She actually asked to wear it" is our most common review.

XS/S fits up to 22¼" head circumference (typically 13 & under); M/L fits above. Measure just above her eyebrows. The dial covers the in-between, and if the size isn’t right, exchange it free within 30 days.

Wide sight-lines through a thin reinforced cage, plus the built-in micro sunshade cutting glare on pop flies. Pitchers tell us they stop squinting; parents tell us the "bad hops" stopped being bad.

"Mask is not falling off or moving in high intense plays. I feel more confident as a mother to a pitcher that her mask will protect her face."

"She was reluctant at first because she was used to her original one. Once she put it on, it’s her go-to mask now. The ratchet adjustment is perfect and much easier than other masks."

"So much easier to adjust and she can do it herself. She’s also commented on how it reduces sun glare."
